Build or improve a customer journey
Turn a defined customer experience into a working Responsys program. The scope can include audiences and eligibility, journey logic, campaign configuration, personalization, connected data and launch testing.
Oracle Responsys consulting
I help teams implement, administer and troubleshoot Oracle Responsys campaigns, journeys and the data behind them.
Need a journey built, a data flow fixed, or experienced help with campaign delivery? I work hands-on in Oracle Responsys and the connected systems behind it. Start with what needs to work better, and we can define the right piece of work.
Talk about your Responsys setupWork you can scope
Turn a defined customer experience into a working Responsys program. The scope can include audiences and eligibility, journey logic, campaign configuration, personalization, connected data and launch testing.
Trace why a campaign, program or data flow is behaving unexpectedly. Identify the cause, implement the agreed change and test the result across the relevant systems.
Get experienced help with a campaign backlog, implementation work, administration or launch QA. One-off work and ongoing support are scoped separately, including support alongside an internal team or agency.
Build · Fix · Run
A visible campaign issue can start in an audience rule, a data feed or a journey decision. I follow the relevant path and work on the cause.
Review profile data, filters, exclusions and permission rules together. Trace why someone enters a campaign, misses it or receives a message they should not.
Build and troubleshoot Program entry, decision paths, timing and exit logic. Check how the journey behaves when customer data or events change.
Implement campaigns and review RPL template logic alongside its data sources, expected fallbacks and representative test cases.
Check imports, exports, mappings, identifiers and schedules. Follow the data between Responsys and your customer data platform or connected systems to find the failing handoff.
Trace how preferences, permission changes and campaign events move between systems, and check how that feedback affects the next audience or journey decision.
Maintain the setup, investigate operational issues and check audience counts, content, links, test cases and handoffs before an agreed launch. Document the checks and who owns the next step.
A focused starting point
Send a short outline of the current situation and the change you want. You do not need finished requirements to begin the conversation.
Explain what needs to work better and which journeys, data or systems are involved.
Identify dependencies and success criteria. If the cause is unclear, a separately scoped investigation may be the first step.
Review inclusions, exclusions, cost, timing, testing and handover before implementation starts.
Supporting an agency or in-house team? I can discuss scoped technical delivery alongside the people already doing the work.
Preparing a useful estimate
A brief description is enough to start. Do not send passwords, API keys, customer lists or data exports with your enquiry. Any access needed for the work is arranged separately and safely later.
Price depends on the agreed deliverables, the condition of the existing setup, the number of systems involved and the testing needed. Missing documentation, custom data connections, complex eligibility rules and multiple teams can change the effort.
If more investigation is needed before an implementation estimate is reliable, that should be made clear before you commit to the work.
Discuss your Responsys projectResponsys enquiry
Describe the change you need and any details above that you already know. I can use that outline to identify what needs clarifying before the work can be priced.
